Seriously, how does an engine grenade so it completely removes itself from the vehicle?

The engine make so much torque, that it’s putting lots of pressure on the engine mounts. As soon as one mount snaps, a few 1000lb-ft go flying. That’s why pouropse built pulling “tractors” have so much chassis flex, the chassis absorbs the torque taking the pressure off the engine mounts.
